Family holiday

The friend that stayed
The neighbours that looked out
The shop owners that checked
The teachers that waited
The clients that understood
The colleagues that stepped in
The assistant that kept it together
The carpark and cuppa that was offered

The friends that welcomed
The burgers that were flipped
The fush and chups that were bought
The driveway that was donated
The tea and toast that were laid out
The home that was shared
The connections that were nurtured
The generosity that was abundant

The oohs and aahs of the magestical view
The good, bad and manky hotel reviews
The cultural exchange
The blasts from the past

The nan and sisters that tuned in
The friends that liked and commented
The picnic that appeared
The soup that was in the fridge
And the rubbish that was on the floor when we left
and now wasn’t

A family holiday made possible by many
Laughs, food, fun, farts, grumps and love, we’ve had plenty

To those we saw and to those we’ll see next time, thank you all so much,
Lots of love from all of us

You really must Narelle, it’s such an incredibly beautiful place, even if it’s challenging to order sux pieces of fush and chups
